Eurovision Quali 2005
POSTED in: Daily Life

As usual, my words to the contest. Commenting it is all the fun!

Good God. Someone shoot me, NOW! Really, that wasnt Austria, those were just some “loonies” pretending to be Austrians, nevermind.

Portugal is really off a lot of times, someone bring them in tune!

Moldavia, the Weird Al Jankovich wannabe, is awesome!

As every year, I have a thing for boys with guitar, Latvia always! ➡

I like the Israel one, the chorus is aweful, but else it almost gives me goosebumps! Great voice! But sorry honey, thats a bit too much silicone in there. 😳

The Queen of Belarus is kinda cool. But some more singing lessons can make all the difference!

Netherlands, she would be really good as a singer in a Disney Movie. I loved the song and her voice!

My second favourite after Moldavia is Belgium, now he has a voice! The song is so dramatic and romantic. Me loves. He is charming.

Norway is awesome! They are going to land in the top 5 this weekend.

Why didnt Switzerland send some of their own? They are good, but they are not Swiss. 🙁

The Irish singer (the 17 year old) is cool! He is completly crazy, I think I love him. But wait, thats illegal, but I can wait until he is 18. 😛

No words to the Polish one, and I dont think I wanted to see him almost naked. Eeks.

After having heard the countries that did not sing tonight, I am sure that Norway will win. What do you think?

Oh, and the commentators are a joke. They are SO EXCITED! Haha.

The countries that I want to go on to the contest in order of how much I liked them, below the…

1.) Norway
2.) Ireland
3.) Latvia
4.) Belgium
5.) Moldova
6.) Slovenia
7.) Switzerland
8.) Israel
9.) Netherlands
10.) Austria, hey I am a patriot!

And these countries will go on after Europe voted for them:

1.) Hungary, I cannot believe it
2.) Romania
3.) Norway, well didnt we know that
4.) Moldova
5.) Israel
6.) Denmark
7.) Macedonia
8.) Croatia
9.) Switzerland
10.) Latvia

We are not in it, Ireland isnt either. Bummer.

England, German and France dont have to qualify, because they are the money source for the contest, they are automatically in it.

Yes, England is a bit stuck because we aren’t neighbours with anyone, and usually neigbours vote for each other.

Hey Nicki, remember, England used to give us full points for about 2 or 3 years! Except last year. I love England. ➡

Those politics are disgusting, every year the same. Thats why they switched to “call in votes” rather than the old jury system, but still the same.

They just showed short clips of the other countries. I am excited for Malta again! The lady sang already a few years back, and I loved it! I also remember the dumb comments from the commentators, but oh well.

Is Javine the english singer? She is PRETTY!
